- Washing: Hand wash recommended
- You should wash the fabric by hand, using a mild detergent and lukewarm water. Fill a basin or sink with water and add a small amount of detergent. Soak the flocked fabric in the water for a few minutes, then gently agitate it to loosen any dirt or debris. Rinse the fabric thoroughly in cool water until all the soap is removed.
- Bleaching: Do not bleach
- You should not use bleach when washing flocked fabric, as it can damage the delicate fibres and cause peeling of the flocking.
- Drying: Do not tumble dry
- You should not put flocked fabric in the dryer, as the heat and tumbling can damage the fibres. Instead, hang the fabric to dry in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight. You can also lay it flat on a clean towel to dry.
- Dry cleaning: Professional dry cleaning recommended
- You can take flocked fabric to a professional dry cleaner for cleaning. Be sure to inform the cleaner that the fabric is delicate and requires special care.
- If you are in any doubt about care instructions please always test a sample first to find the most suitable way to wash your chosen fabrics, as we cannot accept liability for fabrics washed or treated incorrectly.
- Whilst every effort is made, we cannot guarantee that the colours you see on our screen are accurate because every screen is calibrated differently and settings are set differently.
- All sizes and measurement for fabrics washed or treated are approximate.
